Piezo-electric ceramic fibre extrusion

摘要

The extruded fibres after sintering have dia. around 1 mm. and densification values 97% of theory, being of potential use as ultra-sonic transducers. Incorporation of a colloid processed by the sol-gel method, of chemical compsn. analogous to the ceramic precursor, allows extrusion and agglomeration to levels suitable for extrusion without contamination by extraneous agents. The reactive nature of the gel markedly assists sintering.
