<p>The invention describes a device which can be fitted in the vagina, with a sponge-like absorbent main body 1 which takes up a chemical agent. This body is of cylindrical shape and has an axis extending perpendicular to the radial direction. One of two end faces oriented perpendicular to the axis is provided with a recess 4 or depression which is coaxial with the axis of the main body. Arranged in the recess 4 or depression there is a cover made of elastomer material, which cover is connected to the main body 1 and has an attachment point for introduction and removal of the main body 1 in the recess 4 or depression. <IMAGE></p> |
