<p>Prostaglandin derivatives, and specifically derivatives of isocarbacycline, have a methylene group optionally substituted with a substituent on theαcarbon atom in theαside chain. They have various physiological effects, mainly a strong capacity to inhibit blood platelet aggregation and strong anti-ulcer activity. They can be prepared from a derivative of carbacycline.</p> |
