Assembly for stamping metal components

The assembly includes an internal matrix (1) which acts against a metal blank (14). An outer matrix (2) acts against the external side of the metal blank. A further matrix is coaxial with the blank and includes an oblique shaping surface (3a) to act against the blank and shape a connecting wall (14b). - A central matrix (4) forms a cavity within the blank, and an axial orifice opening into the cavity. The central matrix is formed of three detachable components (5-7) to permit removal after formation of the metal cap.
