The frame is made of synthetic resin and is solid with the enclosed sheet, forming a structural unit. It is made by degreasing a sheet of glass or similar, applying a primer coat in the frame region, placing in a mould previously heated to 40-80 deg. C and injecting the synthetic resin under below 10 atoms. pressure. The mould is made from a static and moveable part, and due to its shape and the elastic means used it is possible to made frames for glass of variable thickness.
