The external wall (1) which has insulating panels (3) secured by a fire resistant adhesive coating (2), carries a cladding layer (5) of e.g. plaster, suitable anchored so that there is an air space (6) between the outside surface (30) of the panels and the inside of the cladding layer. The cladding layer is applied to a support (4) made of metal grid sectinons connected together with vertical parts embedded in the insulating panels and carrying a horizontal part to which the plaster is added. USE/ADVANTAGE - Wall with insulating panels. Water or steam trapped by the insulation can escape.
