PURPOSE:To manufacture window moldings which can prevent lateral flow of rain on the side and have good-looking appearance in a simple way and with high precision by forming the upper part and the side part in an integrated continuous shape. CONSTITUTION:A window molding 4 is mounted on the tip of a window blade 2 using a fitting protrusion formed on the tip, and fitted into a stepped part 7a of a body spring 7. Next, the window molding 4 is secured with an adhesive to be cured in a state where a fitting fin 14a is fitted into a fitting member 15. The window molding 4 covers a gap S between the window blade 2 and the body spring 7 with the body 4a of the molding. A protrusion strip 4b comes into contact with the window blade 2 at the upper part 5, and forms a groove 8 between the strip and the window blade 2 by separation from each other at the side part 6. Rain is collected into the groove 8 over the window blade 2 and runs down, so that the lateral flow of rain to the side window 3 is prevented. As the molding 4 at the upper part 5 is integrally continuous with the side part 6 at the corner 11, it presents an excellent appearance by its continuous surface. |
