PURPOSE:To readily obtain the titled carbonated beverage capable of providing use of a paper or polyethylene container and having high safety, by reacting an acid and carbonate in an opened container in drinking and dissolving the generated gaseous carbon dioxide without pressurizing the gas. CONSTITUTION:The aimed carbonated beverage obtained by reacting (A) an acid or (B) a beverage containing the acid and salt added thereto with (C) a carbonate in an opened container in drinking and dissolving the generated gaseous carbon dioxide in the beverage without pressurizing the gas. Furthermore, sodium bicarbonate, etc., in an amount of <=3% based on the beverage are preferably used in the component (C) and citric acid, etc., in an amount of <=5% based on the beverage are preferably used in the component (A). Sodium citrate, etc., in an amount of <=5% based on the beverage are preferably used in the component (B). |
