Rigid and attractive package for a point of sale, adapted to posters, fabrics, various gifts, etc. This device makes it possible to have available indeformable "gift"-quality or very strong packages, which can be stored flat, are easy to use and have a cost which is much lower than a conventional tube. It consists of four faces articulated by folding so as to form a "tube" 1 having a triangular cross-section. The ends are closed off either by a tongue device, ensuring a faultless appearance 2, or by a folding device which is more resistant to crushing. This invention is aimed at the market for packaging rollable, fragile, possibly long, etc., articles, yet its wide range of dimensional tolerances make it suitable for the most diverse articles and circumstances. <IMAGE>
