<p>PURPOSE:To accurately keep the position of a workpiece and obtain an unmanned operation by means of a robot by forming a translocating device with a workpiece positioning mechanism and a lifting up/down mechanism having a chuck and a laterally moving mechanism in the middle of the height between an overhead traveling conveyor and a floor conveyor. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece 51 which is horizontally conveyed by means of an overhead traveling conveyor 50 is stopped at a defined position, and a workpiece positioning mechanism 3 is lifted up from the lower part. And, the workpiece 51 is positioned via a workpiece pallet 2, a lifting up/down device 4 holds a frame 4d, and a sub-lifting up/down device 6 is pushed forward by means of a laterally moving mechanism 5. Then, a sub-lifting up/down frame is lowered by means of the device 6, a chuck mechanism 7 is opposed to the workpiece 51, and a moving clamp 7c is rotated to bring the workpiece 51 close to a clamp 7b. And, the workpiece 51 is chucked by the chuck mechanism 7, which are lifted up by means of the sub-lifting up/down mechanism 6, and the workpiece 51 is separated from a positioning pin 2b. Then, the workpiece 51 is horizontally moved by means of the mechanism 5, lowered by means of a wind-up device 4f, horizontally moved by means of a cylinder 5c, and lowered by means of the device 6.</p> |
