PURPOSE:To obtain a brilliant image quality free from blur or geometric distortion by complementing color and thereby converting stored image data using a complementary color converter, controlling the heating of a thermal head and transferring an image from a transfer sheet to an image receiving paper. CONSTITUTION:Image data obtained from an artificial satellite is converted to image signals corresponding to colors such as R.G.B. by a data converter for expression of information. These image signals are stored into a memory 22 through respective A/D converters 19, 20, 21. This stored data undergoes color modification and gradation modification at an image processing device 23. This modified data is converted to color signals such as Y, M, C by a complementary color converter 25, then these color signals are converted to serial signals per line of image data by a parallel/serial converter 26 and added to a driver 27. These serial signals are processed at a duty ratio corresponding to the values of Y, M, C for thermal control of a thermal head 28, and these processed signals are supplied to the head 28. Consequently, image data is transferred and recorded in color in image receiving paper 31 from thermal transfer film 30. |
