It relates to a torsion damping device including two coaxial parts A, B mounted so as to rotate with respect to one another counter to circumferentially-acting elastic members 38. According to the invention, these circumferentially-acting elastic members 38 consist of buffers made from an elastic material, for example in the form of a ring, and they are each respectively carried by one or other of the coaxial parts A, B between which they are interposed, being connected by a fixing means 43 onto this coaxial part at one of their circumferential ends, and extending circumferentially in an overhanging manner from this fixing means 43.
