PURPOSE: To make it possible to not only prevent forgery or falsification of an information recording card but also easily identify whether the card is true or false by forming a shield layer to make the infrared transmissive and an infrared absorbing pattern invisible on an infrared reflecting layer on which an infrared absorbing pattern is formed and further, a visible dummy pattern thereon. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic recording layer 2 is formed on the surface of a card base board 1 comprising a portion of a prepaid card. Formed on the magnetic recording layer 2 is an infrared recording layer 3 comprising an infrared reflecting layer 31 and an infrared absorbing pattern 32. Further, a shield layer 4 to make infrared transmissive and the infrared absorbing pattern 32 invisible is formed on an infrared reflecting layer 31 on which the infrared absorbing pattern 32 is formed. This pattern may be either e.g. a device to record the bar code pattern information or the one capable of simply identifying the existence of the pattern. Further, a dummy pattern 5 is formed on the shield layer 4 on which a transparent protective layer 6 is formed. |
