Vehicle provided with means for mounting, against at least one of its wheels in situ, an auxiliary wheel of greater diameter without means for lifting the vehicle. These means consist of two interacting elements 8, 15 carried by the wheel rims 1, 12 of the two wheels, which transmit the rotation of one to the other thereby allowing a sliding of the second between an off-centred position and the central rolling position. These interacting elements are the internal face and the external face of two dihedra 8, 15 of the same vertex angle, one 8 of which belongs to a complete equilateral triangle centred on the wheel rim 1 or 12 which carries it. The invention applies advantageously to special vehicles and more particularly to agricultural tractors. <IMAGE>
