PURPOSE:To manufacture a trim material consisting of base and skin components with ease, while eliminating the trouble to manufacture the skin component or adhere the base and skin components together by applying an adhesive on one side of a soft polyurethane foamed sheet impregnated with synthetic resin, implanting pile through an adhesive-applied layer to form a piled layer and finally pressing it. CONSTITUTION:A soft polyurethane foamed sheet 1 impregnated with synthetic resin 1 is manufactured by impregnating it with resins such as melamine, urea, epoxy, urethane, phenol, acrylic or acrylic prepolymer with high rigidity and plasticity. An adhesive 2 such as acrylic resin, vinyl acetate resin or styrene butadiene rubber is applied on one side of the foamed sheet and pile is implanted there. The implanted pile is fiber of polyester, acryl or polyamide. Its length is about 0.5-1.5mm and its diameter is about 2.0-5.0. After the formation of the piled layer 3, said layer is thermally pressed, or the soft polyurethane foamed sheet impregnated with synthetic resin is thermally softened and cold-rolled to a desired shape. |
