Cantilever ironing press with integral large and small support boards

An ironing press with a hot plate which can be applied by an overhead arm to a full width ironing board has the board mounted on supports which allow it to be lowered so that a smaller board such as a sleeve board can be moved to the correct height and level beneath the hot plate in place of the board. The boards may move laterally and/or pivot, pref. are kept parallel to the interchange of the large and small plates and locks them in their working/dropped positions as appropriate. The small plate may serve as a segment of the larger plate, as e.g. a corner or a border zone.
