PURPOSE:To obtain a hot spraying repair material which is improved in corrosion resistance, adhesiveness, adhesion and mechanical strength by adding powdery sodium silicate specified in grain size and SiO2/Na2O to a basic refractory mixture contg. superfine particles of silica. CONSTITUTION:This hot spraying repair material is prepd. by adding 0.5-5wt.% powdery sodium silicate having <=50mu central grain size and contg. SiO2/Na2O =2.6-2.8 to the basic refractory mixture contg. 0.2-5wt.% superfine particles of silica. Basic aggregates such as magnesia clinkers, dolomite clinkers and calcia clinkers which are adequately adjusted in grain size are used as the aggregate of this repair material. Lime salt, sodium silicofluoride, etc., are used as the org. or inorg. fiber material and binder assistant of the repair material. The superfine particles of silica which are generated at the time of producing ferrosilicon, etc., and are the spherical particles having <=1mu central grain size are more preferable. |
