<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the removal of jam by providing at least two stages of upper and lower paper feeding parts on a paper feeding device, enabling the feed of sheets of paper from each paper feeding part, and forming a part of discharge side paper feeding passage with one common guide plate. CONSTITUTION:A paper feeding device which is removably provided on the paper feeding side of a recording device feeds a sheet of paper which is separated to one sheet to the image forming part of a recording device body through a conveying passage 70 by means of each paper feeding unit 30. In this conveying passage 70, one revolvable plate 71 which serves as a common guide plate for the three stages of paper feeding units 30 is provided and, if jam occurred during the feed of paper, this revolvable plate 71 is revolved to open the conveying passage 70. Thereby, a jam removing operation in the paper feeding part can be easily carried out.</p> |
