<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a product of high dimensional accuracy and stable rolling by comparing respective torque arms operated and stored at each stand with a standard torque arm and changing the stored torque arm with the standard arm when a deviation of the stored torque exceeds a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A torque arm table 6 stores many torque arms a'0 corresponding to rolling schedules and rolled stock materials. Before a new rolling, a torque arm lock-on arithmetic circuit 2 operates a rolling arm Gm through an acceleration and deceleration current removing device 1 after biting the top of a rolled stock by a stand and the immediately before time of bitting the top by the adjacent stand and a ratio of the torque Gm to a rolling pressure P, and calculates and stores a torque arm a0 of the rolling stand. A torque arm lock-on decision circuit 7 compares the torque arms a0 and a'0. If the circuit 7 decides that the arm a0 contains many errors, a changing circuit 7a is changed to give a generated tension arithmetic circuit 3 the arm a'0 to perform the rolling with high dimensional accuracy.</p> |
