PURPOSE: To provide a crimping machine of relatively simple, small, and lightweight structure which is favorable in the field application by introducing a two-split body consisting of half bodies capable of moving to the open position where a fitting is positioned on the center shaft and the crimping position, arranging so that the center shaft is perpendicular to the line of motion, and installing a die so that it is movable within a web in the radial direction of the center shaft. CONSTITUTION: An assembly of a hose 46 crimping and a fitting 41 is positioned between two half bodies 11 and 12, and the center shaft 79 of the fitting 41 is located perpendicular to the plane of the line of motion 42, and the half bodies 11 and 12 are moved to the closed position in the condition that the fitting 41 is held in this position. The front faces of two webs are contacted together, and the front faces of dies 22-25 and ones 26-29 are also engaged with the side of the socket 44 of the fitting 41. When the half bodies 11 and 12 are moved to the crimping position by applying a force, the front faces of the dies 22-25 and 26-29 are intruded to the socket 44, which can be crimped in the shape shown by the broken lines. |
