PURPOSE:To manufacture a plastic hollow panel of superior rigidity integrally and stably by setting a given melting condition and a mold closing condition for the parison of polyphenylene ether resin. CONSTITUTION:Polyphenylene ether resin is melted at the temperature of 230 deg.C or more and 260 deg.C or less by an extruder, and then accumulated in an accumulator 2 and extruded as a cylindrical parison P from an extrusion heat 3. Fluid is blown-in from a blowing hole of the extrusion heat 3 and the preliminarily expanded parison P2 is deformed into flat shape as a space between molds 4 and 5 is narrowed. An outer periphery is positioned outside pinch-off sections 10 in the up and down and left and right sides and the molds 4 and 5 are closed. The whole periphery of parison P2 is compressively fusion bonded at the pinch- off sections 10 to form a thick wall section P3 and a flash P4 is located on the outer periphery. Also, the parison P is integrally fusion bonded in a dot shape between a projected section 11 and a facing cavity 6. Pressurized fluid is blown into the parison, expanded along cavities 6 and 7 and molded. The molds 4 and 5 are opened after being cooled, and the flash P4 is cut from the thick wall section P3 to manufacture a plastic hollow panel 20. |
