Polyaryloxypyridine oligomer compositions with acetylenic ends, their preparation and the networks obtained by their thermal polymerisation

Polyaryloxypyridine oligomer compositions with acetylenic ends, obtained by forming a polyaryloxypyridine oligomer composition with halogenated ends from an alkali metal diphenylate and a 3,5-dihalopyridine, followed by an ethynylation reaction, and capable of exhibiting a mean degree of polycondensation of 1 to 50. They can be employed to form networks which are crosslinked by polyaddition reaction of the ethynyl groups.
