PURPOSE:To prevent the deteriorated S/N due to the invasion of external noise and to attain compact device by providing an amplifier circuit amplifying a reproducing signal from a magnetic head and supplying the amplified signal to a rotary transformer to the upper part of a rotating body having a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:A rotary transformer 8 consists of a rotary transformer half 8a of the rotor side fixed to the bottom face of a supporting member 7 and a rotary transformer half 8b of the stator side fixed to a recessed part 2b of a stator drum 2. A reproducing signal from a magnetic head 4 is weak, then the reproducing signal of the magnetic head 4 is not directly inputted to the rotary transformer 8 but the reproducing signal amplified by an amplifier circuit 11 in the drum device 1 is supplied to the rotary transformer 8. Thus, even when the rotary transformer 8 mixes the external noise, the deterioration in the S/N is suppressed. Thus, the deterioration of the S/N is prevented due to invasion of external noise and the drum device is made compact to the same degree as a conventional device regardless of the provision of amplifier circuit. |
