Rolling member for vehicles having great roadholding on all terrains according to Claim 1 of the main patent 83,03191, which includes a peripheral succession of runners 1 capable of moving radially with respect to the centre by means of extensible elements driven by the hub 4 of the wheel, each extensible element being formed of a radial arm 2 moving in a radial bore 3 counter to a spring 5. Each radial arm is provided with a cage C which carries rollers 10, 15, 24, 25 which are free to rotate and whose axes are perpendicular to the axis of the arm 2 and whose external bearing surface is capable of coming into contact with a longitudinal zone of the internal surface of the bore 3. As the arms 2 and the bores 3 have a quadrilateral-shaped cross-section, the cage C is formed of independent longitudinal bars 13, 18 provided with notches 12, 17 for holding the spindles of the rollers 10, 15. These arrangements prevent the very great wear of the radial arms resulting from friction acting on their entire surface in contact with the bore which guides them. <IMAGE>
