The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to grinding or rubbing devices. The grinding or rubbing device for surface working comprises a holder (1) and a working member (2) which is fixed to the holder (1). For the purpose of fixing, use is made of receptacles (3) and fixing elements (4) which can be coupled to them and have elastically deformable thickened portions (5) at the ends. In this arrangement, the receptacles (3) are constructed in the holder (1) and the fixing elements (4) are formed on the working member (2), on the side facing the holder (1). The elastically deformable thickened portions (5) at the ends of the fixing elements (4) are conically shaped and form non-releasable connections with the receptacles (3). <IMAGE>
