In the case of a pole terminal which is intended especially for clamping cables onto a pole stub, which is arranged in a recessed manner, of a car battery, the orientation of the longitudinal axis of the cable holder at an angle with respect to the axis direction of the pole terminal clamping screw, which angle is in the range between 0@ and 90@ and is considerably different from both extreme values, results in it being possible to lay the cables in a kink-free manner, even in confined spacial conditions, while at the same time providing good accessibility to the clamping screw or clamping tools.
