<p>PURPOSE:To permit steering force to be transmitted through a gear mechanism by tilting a shaft part of an arm of a circular arc-shaped partial gear meshed with a pinion, when it is rotated by steering a front wheel, and causing a rear wheel steering tie rod to be actuated. CONSTITUTION:An input shaft 10, penetrating through a bracket 51 and the axial center of a chip bevel gear 53, is connected to a guide member 54 between paired chip bevel gears 53, 58. A slider 56, having a circular arc-shaped partial gear 56a, is engaged with a circular arc-shaped opening 55 formed in the guide member 54. A pinion 65a, meshed with the partial gear 56a, is connected to a shaft 66 supported to the guide member 54, and this shaft 66 is connected to a bevel gear 65. A shaft part 68, supporting the slider 56, engages a spherical seat 62 with a ball 63 of a base frame 52, and the shaft part 68 connects to its intermediate part a tie rod 23 being crossed. The tie rod 23 integrally forms a guide frame 59, supporting a spherical seat 60 to a guide groove 69 and engaging a partial ball 61, supported to the shaft part 68, with a spherical seat.</p> |
