The interchangeable tool holder is for a robot with a base (2), and a tool support section (1) with a common central spindle (3). The support section pivots in the base under the effect of an alignment force, typically a spring or a pressure-operated piston (18). - The support section pref. has a circular flange (7) with an alignment face (16') pressed in the rest position against a mating face (16) on the base. The alignment force may be adjustable, or externally controllable. |
