PURPOSE: To make an entire device thinner and lighter in weight and to reduce costs by attaching the right and left legs of a window pane raising/lowering X-link to a pair of sliders threadably engaged with a right-handed screw and a left-handed screw driven by a motor for rotation. CONSTITUTION: A pair of sliders 32, 34 are threadably engaged with a right- handed screw 24 and a left-handed screw 26 driven by a motor 20 for rotation and are slid in mutually approaching or separating directions according to whether the motor 20 is rotating in a forward or a reverse direction. The right and left legs 42a, 42b of a window pane raising/lowering X link 40 are secured to the sliders 32, 34 and a window pane 12 is attached to the upper portion of the X link. As the sliders 32, 34 slide, the right and left legs 42a, 42b of the X link 40 are operated for opening or closing movement to raise or lower the window pane 12. |
