PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting coil easily by a method wherein the coil is formed by printing, coating and sintering the superconducting ceramic powder paste having the prescribed composition on a ceramic substrate having the specific composition. CONSTITUTION:A paste A is manufactured using the superconducting ceramic material having the critical temperature, at which it is changed into a superconducting state, which is higher than the boiling point of liquid nitrogen. The paste A is applied by printing, it is sintered and a thick film-like superconducting coil 2 is formed. At that time, Pm2MCuO5 is used as a substrate 1, and superconducting ceramic having the composition of LnM2Cu3O7-k is used as the paste A, provided that Ln contains at least a kind selected from the rare-earth elements such La, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, and Ho, M contains at least a kind selected from Ba, Sr and Ga, and k is used in the form of 0<k<1. As a result, a superconducting coil 2 can be obtained easily. |
