PURPOSE:To let cooling fluid flow uniformly axially of a laser material by defining the cross-sectional area of a cooling fluid storing part constituting the supply side of the cooling fluid such that the cross-sectional area conforms to a predetermined formula as the storing part goes away from a supply inlet axially of the laser material. CONSTITUTION:Cooling fluid storing parts 11a, 11b are mounted in a water-tight manner on both sides to which a heat insulation material for a laser material 1 is sticked. Side plates 12a, 12b are attached to both ends of the cooling fluid storing parts 11a, 11b in a water-tight manner. A connecting plate 13 is mounted on the side plate 12a and connected to a supply tube 14. The interior of the cooling fluid storing part 11a is tapered such that the cross-sectional area A(x) of the storing part satisfies as the area goes away from a supply inlet 14a axially of the laser material 1. |
