PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the above device and to restrain torsional vibration by integrally forming a chamber in a cam pulley and sealing a viscous fluid in the chamber to accommodate a mass body in such a manner as to displace in the rotating direction. CONSTITUTION:An annular groove 17b opened to the side surface is formed on a rim portion 17 of a cam pulley 12 substantially extending over the whole periphery, a chamber 18 closed by a top board 19 is filled with a fluid having a designated viscosity, and a mass body 20 of designated mass is accommodated in the fluid in such a manner as to float in the rotating direction. Thus, the above fluid and mass body form a dynamic damper 21. Torsional vibration in a set frequency range is diminished by the action of the damper to restrain torsional vibration of the cam pulley 12. The resonance frequency of the damper 21 can be set to the frequency range of a power transmission system by adjusting the viscosity of the fluid and mass of the mass body 20, so that there is no dimensional restrictions at the time of setting to reduce the device in size and torsional vibration can be effectively restrained. |
