PURPOSE: To ensure restraint of reflection in an image receiving tube and or like in a room and a decrease of light loss caused by a louver by controlling outgoing light of a luminaire which incorporates a strait tube type lamp and is provided with a reflection board and the louver. CONSTITUTION: Light emitted from a strait tube type fluorescent lamp 11 which is installed in a lamp socket at inner surfaces of both ends of a main body 10 goes out through a louver 16. The light from a reflection board 13 among the light made incident to each cell 17 of the louver 16 comes incident to an opening surface 20 almost orthogonally and the other reflection light goes out at a glare cutting angle by way of an establishment of a relation ofα>=β>0 between a focus (f) of a paraboloid of the reflection board 13 and a diameter of a lamp and an upper end surface part of the louver 16, and therefore it is possible not to occur a reflection onto an image receiving tube and to make a thickness of an upper end part of the cell 17 of the louver 16 thin to thereby decrease light loss and improve an apparatus efficiency.
