The invention relates to a connecting device for telecommunications technology, with connecting strips (2) plugged onto the rows of straps (5, 6) of an assembly bracket (1), with socket strips (3) allocated to the connecting strips (2) and with electrical connections between the insulation-piercing contacts (9) of the connecting strips (2) and the contacts (15) of the socket strips (3). In order to produce the electrical connections in a simple manner and hence to make all the insulation-piercing contacts (9) of a connecting strip (2) available for outgoing cable wires, a printed-circuit board (4) is arranged underneath the connecting strips (2) between the rows of straps (5, 6) of the assembly bracket (1), the socket strips (3) are arranged on the printed-circuit board (4) and the insulation-piercing contacts (9) of the connecting strips (2) and the contacts (15) of the socket strip (3) are provided with contact pins which engage in holes (14) in the printed-circuit board (4) which are electrically connected to one another. <IMAGE>
