PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the titled wire by specifying the contents of C, Cr, W, Mo, V, Si and Mn in the compsn. of a steel wire. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. of the titled wire is formed with, by weight, 0.6-3.0% C, 10.0-20.0% Cr, <=20% W, <=15% Mo, <=15% V, <=2.0% Si and <=1.0% Mn, if required, with <=16% total of one or more kinds among <=15% Co, <=3.0% Ni and <=3.0% Cu and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. By this compsn., its corrosion resistance and wear resistance can be improved. Since said wire is furthermore made of steel and has the characteristics of lightness and high toughness, it has a drastical effect as the wire for a printer having high speed and longer service life. |
