The invention relates to an electrode grid (1; 2, 3) for storage batteries, especially lead storage batteries, for accommodating the active materials, comprising a current lug (4; 5; 6), said electrode grid having a honeycomb structure for achieving a more favourable current conduction and thus a reduction of the d.c. or ohmic resistance within the electrode grid and a more uniform current load on the active materials, and for achieving a reduction of material requirements; said honeycomb structure comprising a multiplicity of substantially similar elongated oblique-angled quadrangular or polygonal regular honeycombs (7; 8; 9) having their longitudinal axes (10, 11, 12; 13, 14, 15; 16, 17, 18) and their tips substantially oriented towards the current lug (4; 5; 6) and being inclined relative thereto. <IMAGE> |
