PURPOSE:To uniformly and evenly coat a required small amt. of a developing soln. onto the surface of a printing plate by loading a stock developing soln. tank and automatically executing the prepn. of the developing soln. by diluting and stirring of the stock developing soln. and the supply of the soln. to the printing plate at proper times. CONSTITUTION:The stock developing soln. tank 61 and an auxiliary tank 69 which has a narrow part 67 of the part opened to the atm. in the position higher than the top surface of the tank 61 and an expanded bottom part 68A in the position lower than the base of the tank 61 are provided. The bottom of the stock soln. tank 61 and the bottom of the auxiliary tank 68 are coupled by a hose. A temporary storage tank 85 for the developing soln. prepd. by diluting and stirring the stock soln. supplied from the outflow port in the bottom of the auxiliary tank 68 to a mixing tank 60 by a pump and the water supplied from a water tank 71 to the mixing tank 60 by a pump at the specified ratio obtd. by setting the rotating speeds of the respective speeds is provided in such a manner that the bottom of the storage tank is positioned in the lower part in the bottom of the mixing tank 60 by coupling sand tank by a hose to the mixing tank 60. The fresh developing soln. of the extremely small amt. just necessary for coating the surface of the printing plate is thereby fed to the printing plate. The high-grade development is thus attained with good efficiency.
