PURPOSE:To obtain an erythrocytic preparation having long life in blood, retaining for a long time, continuously showing medicinal effects, having high safety, by dispersing erythrocyte into a hypotonic buffer solution, adding a drug to the solution, adding a hypertonic buffer solution and making osmotic pressure of the whole buffer solution isotonic to osmotic pressure of erythrocyte. CONSTITUTION:Erythrocyte is dispersed into a buffer solution which contains a monosaccharide (preferably glucose) and a purine base (preferably adenine) and/or a purine nucleoside (preferably inosine) and has osmotic pressure more hypotonic than erythrocyte, preferably 100-340mmol., a drug is added to the solution and the drug is introduced into a erythrocyte by using difference in osmotic pressure. Then a buffer solution which contains the monosaccharide and the purine base and/or the purine nucleoside and has osmotic pressure more hypertonic than erythrocyte, preferably 500-5,000mmol. is added to the solution and osmotic pressure of the whole buffer solution is made isotonic to the osmotic pressure of erythrocyte. |
