Maleimide resin composition comprising polyamine, maleimide and maleamic acid

Soluble maleimide resins comprise a mixture of maleimides and maleamic acids, e.g. greater than about 45% bismaleimide and up to about 40% bis-maleamic acid. Such resins are soluble in solvents such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone and toluene. Stable resin solutions comprise a minor amount of polyamine.
