CONSTITUTION:The titanyl phthalocyanine in which a main peak of Bragg angle 2theta against a CuKalpha ray lines in at least 9.5 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., 9.7 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., 11.7 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., 15.0 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., 23.5 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., 24.1 deg.+ or -0.2 deg. and 27.3 deg.+ or -0.2 deg., is used for a carrier generating layer 2 mounted on a conductive supporting body 1. The hydrazone compd. shown by formulas I and/or II is incorporated in a carrier transfer layer 3. In the formulas R<1> is hydrogen or halogen atom., etc., R<2>, R<3>, R<5>, R<7> and R<8> are each alkyl or aryl group, R<4> is naphthyl group, R<6> is hydrogen atom. or alkoxy group, etc., Ar<1> is aryl group. And, the photosensitive layer contd. in the titled body may be constituted of a monolayer. |
