<p>The system is composed of a heating vessel, an electric heating resistance, and a transformer producing a low voltage alternating current supply controlled by a thermostat. The vessel is a double walled tank (1, 3) with an insulating material (2) between the walls and a water inlet and outlet (7, 8). A small reservoir (5) is placed inside the heating vessel and contains a mineral fluid which is electrically non-conductive. A heating element is placed in the mineral fluid and is supplied with AC from the transformer.</p> |
