A transfer sheet for thermal transfer recording system having a color material layer containing sublimable dyes on one surface of a base film, and said color material layer is a black color material layer containing sublimable dyes represented by following formulae (I), (II) and (III); <IMAGE> (I) <IMAGE> (II) <IMAGE> (III) in the above formulae, X and Y represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; -A- represents -CO-, -COO-, or -SO2-; and R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, and R7 represent a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group.
