PURPOSE:To surely collate a person himself and to require impression of his fingerprint at each time of transaction to prevent the wrong use of a card by providing the card with a fingerprint impressing part and providing an automatic transaction processing device with a collating means and a wiping means. CONSTITUTION:A fingerprint impressing part 11 is formed in the left center part on the surface of a card 1, and an image sensor 45 which reads the image on the impressing part 11 and a wiping brush 46 which wipes the impressing part 11 are provided in a card reader of the automatic transaction processing device. When a customer inserts the card 1 to the automatic transaction processing device after impressing the impressing part 11 of the card 1 with his fingerprint at the time of transaction, the impressed fingerprint is read by the sensor 45 and is collated with a fingerprint preliminarily stored in a file of a center. If they coincide with each other as the collation result, money reception/payment or the like is performed, and the impressing part 11 is wiped with the wiping brush 46 to erase the impressed fingerprint before the card is returned. Thus, the person himself is surely collated, and his fingerprint is impressed at each time of transaction to make certification of a person himself necessary and the wrong use of the card is prevented. |
