PURPOSE:To stabilize characteristics of an oxide superconductor with oxygen supplied constantly by filling a powder or a raw powder of an oxide superconductor in a metallic tube having a higher melting point than that of the oxide superconductor, sealing oxygen or a liquid oxygen, and then that treating an element wire obtained with a wire drawing processing conducted at a higher temperature than the melting point of an oxide superconductor. CONSTITUTION:A powder of an oxide superconductor or a raw powder of an oxide superconductor is filled in such as a stainless tube 2 having a higher melting point than that of the superconductor, oxygen is pressure sealed or a liquid oxygen is sealed, then an element wire is formed with a wire drawing processing conducted, and thereby the powder of the oxide superconductor or the raw powder of an oxide superconductor is melted with the element wire heat treated. This causes the contraction of the volume of the oxide superconductor to occur, a melt 1 to be collected at the bottom part of the tube 2, and a gap 3 to arise on the upper part of the tube 2. This enables the stabilization of the characteristics with an oxide superconductor constantly maintained in an oxygen environment with the gap 3 as an oxygen passage. |
