In a photographic element amenable to heat development or mobile dye heat transfer, an electroconductive layer is formed from a composition containing an electroconductive substance, typically carbon black, a hydrophilic binder, typically gelatin, and a water-insoluble compound having a melting point of up to 120 DEG C. and a boiling point of at least 175 DEG C., for example, trinonyl phosphate, such that the conductive layer undergoes a minimized change in electric resistance when folded.
