<p>Novel 6.alpha.-methylprednisolone derivatives of the general formula I (I) (I) in which R1 represents a C3-C6-1-oxoalkyl group and R2 represents acetyl and processes for their manufacture. The compounds are pharmacologically active and may accordingly be made up with suitable carriers into pharmaceutical preparations.</p>
