PURPOSE:To make it possible to control characteristics as required, by laying several kinds of oxide magnetic powders having different compositions or characteristics in layers, and molding and sintering the layered structure. CONSTITUTION:A several kinds of oxide magnetic powders whose characteristics after sintering are known and having different compositions or different powder properties are selected according to an object and they are laid one over another. The layered structure is molded and sintered with distributions of composition of the respective adjacent layers maintained substantially. In this manner, the material of each layer is allowed to exhibit its peculiar characteristics sufficiently and combination of physical and magnetic characteristics that can not be obtained by prior arts is realized. In other words, in order to produce a magnetic head, coil or transformer with a sintered body obtained by sintering oxide magnetic powder, several kinds of oxide magnetic powders can be laid one on another and sintered while combination of magnetic characteristics is adjusted properly in consideration of the compositions and sintering properties of the layers, so that a composite magnetic material having characteristics as required can be obtained easily. |
