发明名称 RECIPROCAL ARITHMETIC CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten an access time by executing the reciprocal operation of integer data by means of a small-sized table and a small-sized hardware in high speed in a data driving type processor. CONSTITUTION:A reciprocal arithmetic circuit is composed of registers 10 and 11, a multiplexer 12, a first multiplying circuit 13, a subtracting circuit 14, a second multiplying circuit 15, a bit reading circuit 16, a register 17, a counter 18 and a control part 19. Such a circuit is contained in a processing unit 21 to compose the data driving type processing unit, and the reciprocal operation of the integer data is executed only by passing the unit 21 once. For such a purpose, the processing unit to contain the unit 21 is composed of the processing unit 21, a link table memory 22, a function table memory 23, a data memory 24, an output control circuit 26 and an input control circuit 27. In such a way, the reciprocal can be obtained by executing a repeating operation once, and even an initial value table can be set on a local memory.
