PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a condensor bank by forming the bank through a way of connecting ceramic condensors to a parallel conductor in a sandwich form, and forming the area of a conductor on the high voltage side smaller than that on the low voltage side. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic condensor 4 is provided in a condensor bank 1 in a sandwich form between a conductor board 3 on a high voltage side and a conductor board 2 on a low voltage side. One of the board is connected to a discharge switch 7 through a coaxial cable 6 and to a discharge tube 8 through transmission boards 19, 20. The bank 1 is structured in a four stage form by means of partition boards 1a, and each conductor is insulated against the bank 1 by means of each insulator 5. The conductor board 3 is arranged inside with respect to the container of the bank 1 and formed smaller than the board 2, whereby a distance from an end of the board 3 to the container of the bank 1 is elongated. As a result, the strength of electrical field at the end is moderated for improving withstand voltage reliability. |
