<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a visual line or a mouse from being sharply moved due to unnecessary cursor operation by moving a cursor to a prescribed position in an window newly changed to the highest order of display order and redisplayed and setting up the cursor on the position. CONSTITUTION: When an window is newly set up and displayed or the display order of windows is changed, a cursor 30 is automatically set up on a prescribed position, e.g. a start position, of an window 21 displayed on the highest order. The automatic setting of the cursor is executed by using window management tables 40, 50. The 1st table 40 defines the display position and size of each window defined on a display screen 2, relation with its corresponding logical screen and a cursor initializing condition and the 2nd table 50 stores the names of respective windows displayed in accordance with the display order. Consequently an operator can instruct the selection of an object to be processed and the execution of a processing command without sharply moving a visual line or a mouse.</p> |
